Hey there. Welcome to today's episode. My name is Brandy Shaver and we are talking about 'What you do when you have a lazy team?'
1. How Do I Get My Team Doing What I'm Doing?
And what I mean by that is when your team is not duplicating! So one of the BIGGEST questions I get is "How do I get my team doing what I'm doing?"
Well, you don't!!
Because it is a volunteer army. They are there for their reasons. So the best way for you to get your team moving is to actually go enrol more people.
Now I know you probably didn't think that was going to be the answer, but it IS the answer.
2. What NOT To Do
What happens to many of us (and all of us are guilty, especially me, I've actually done this a couple of times) is when we get new team members, we think that we have to go right in and hold their hand and focus solely on them.
However, in our business, where we build teams and move products, we have to run OUR business, which is us selling products and recruiting, and then show our new team member, how to do it as well.
So be careful to not fall into that management mode, where you are not building your own business.
And remember that your team members are only going to do about 20% of what you do. Okay.
3. Lead From The Front
So it's always gotta be you leading from the front.
