The Stages of Emotion with Network Marketing and How To Manage Them in Yourself and Your Teammates

Hey there!

I'm excited about today's topic, we are going to talk about the stages of emotion with building a network marketing business and how you can manage those stages in yourself as well as in your team. And this is really, really good, important, because if you don't manage these stages of emotion, most people end up quitting network marketing.

But before we jump in I want to introduce myself. My name is Brandy shaver. And what I do is teach network marketers, home based business entrepreneurs, how to build their businesses online. And I'm excited to be able to share this with you today because it's super important.


THE FIRST STAGE 

in building your network marketing or your entrepreneurship journey is you are excited, right? And if you have ever felt this way inside of your business, where you are just like fired up, This is what I've been looking for. I'm so excited to have freedom and choices and all those things. Like it's just something that you can't even explain to other people. And a lot of people call this stage ignorance on fire. That means that you basically know nothing about what you're doing, but you're just so excited to be a part of what it is you're doing.


THE SECOND STAGE

you are going to hit self doubt. Now this is where you might've gotten some nos. Maybe you went and talked to a few people that you respected, some people you thought would be just as excited as you are about it. And they told you, NO. Maybe they told you you're crazy. Right?
Maybe they've told you that they've done that. And it doesn't work. Or like some of the things that I heard inside of my business when I got started. And it kind of crushes your dreams.

THE THIRD STAGE


Which would lead us to the third stage, which is where you want to quit. And you're like, I'm out, right? I'm just going to throw my hands in the air and I'm just going to say, you know what I'm done.
I’ve totally been there, and it is something that happens a lot in entrepreneurial journeys, not just in network marketing.

THE FOURTH STAGE


The fourth stage is being determined. Hopefully you get to this stage. Maybe you talk to somebody that's supporting you, or you just have a little talk to yourself, which is what I do a lot of times. And you get really determined. Telling yourself, I know this can work. Okay. That's called determined. That's when you turn things around, give yourself a good swift kick in the butt and you decide, you know what, I'm going to make this work.

THE FIFTH STAGE

The next step is being committed. So five is being committed. That's where you decide, no matter what, up, down, ugly, backwards, whatever you are going to stay the course. And you become committed.

The sixth stage, which is actually a bonus, cause I only had five for you, but I want to share the sixth stage. The sixth stage is when you become Bulletproof and Bulletproof means where you are like, absolutely like sold. Like this is it for you. There is no going back, you have burned the ships and you continue to build your business, but then you become totally Bulletproof.

That's it all comes together, when you're Bulletproof.

Here's the key to this. This all only happens if you have the right mindset, the right team and the right system. You've got to have something you believe in.

So those are the five stages of emotion to help you work through those. And here's the key. You've got to identify what stage you're in and be able to either get with your upline and work through what you're thinking about and what's going on in your mind, or be able to do that with yourself.

Being an island and building a business all by yourself is kind of lonely. So you need a support system and you can.

Now, remember inside of entrepreneurship you emotions are on a rollercoaster, and your job is to, be able to keep them steady. Not that you don't feel anything. Right. But you don't get freaked out.

And here's an example of that. Like when somebody enrolls, right? Maybe you enroll somebody that's really influential and they have a big following. You're like, this is awesome. They enroll and then maybe six months later they leave. Okay. So now you're up here because you're excited and you're working with them and then all of a sudden they leave and your self worth hits the ground, right?

You've got to separate yourself from the business. It's two different things. Continue to stay committed, stay the course, be determined and become Bulletproof by feeding your mind with personal development, learning about the industry, focusing on positive gratitude, all of those things.
