Three Reasons Your Perfect Prospects Are Not Liking, Commenting or Buying From Your Posts!

Hey, welcome to today's episode. We are talking about 'The THREE reasons that your perfect prospects are NOT liking, commenting or buying from your posts'. 

My name is Brandy Shaver, and I'm super excited to be here today to be able to share this with you.

So, are you posting on social media???

Are you upping your game on social media because of our current situation?

You can't any longer go out and play the three foot rule, or maybe you're just tired of playing the three foot rule, and you want to learn more strategies on how to build your business using social media the right way.

I'm going to share with you some common mistakes people make when they're posting that doesn't get them results.......

1.  Using Your Posts to Sell

Number one is you are trying to sell on your posts.

And people who are reading your posts, first off, can smell your commission breath hundreds of miles away. 

And one thing you want to remember is that people don't come to social media to buy.

They come to social media to be social. And so what we are doing when we are creating posts and things that are in your face sales posts, we are interrupting what they are doing.

Now, if you have done this correctly inside of your profiles, or maybe you're running advertising on your business page, then your ad or your post is going to be native.

And what native means is that it looks like it belongs there. So your 'buy me now' and 'join my team because I need to hit my goals before the end of the month' is not native.

Those are straight up salesy posts, and they're being a 'Spammy Tammy' is what we like to call it. And it creates resistance instantly into your audience because they aren't there to buy.

They are there to create relationships. And so if you are doing this, selling on your posts, then stop doing it. That's the number one reason people are not buying! 

2. Social Media Algorithms

Number two, Facebook scans every word and image that you post.

So if your post is intended to promote a business or a product, Facebook will actually demote it.

I guess it doesn't really matter if you're on Instagram either, but if you're doing organic stuff, Facebook is going to demote it, if it's promoting a business or a product, same over on Instagram and most social media channels, actually, if you're not paying to play, they don't want you sharing posts like that. 

So it's going to show it to very few people, that are probably like your mom or your upline. So those are the people that are going to see a post like that if the social media algorithm has scanned it. 

3. Talking to the Wrong People!

Number three reason, if number one and number two reasons don't apply to you, then you are absolutely talking to the wrong people in your posts.

Like Uncle Bob and Aunt Sue, who are incredible people, let's face it, right? But they're just not your perfect prospects for your product or your opportunity. 

And they may eventually buy because they're tired of you throwing up the post and they want to support you, but they're not the right people to talk to

So here's what I want you to do..... I want you to imagine what could happen if you had the right people to talk to about your business, who by the way, are already Googling your products and want to know more about them, they are looking for a solution! #

And imagine what could happen if you knew how to create posts that speak exactly to that person so that they can connect with you and get either on the team or buy the product.
