I wanted to chat a little bit about today about what to do when life knocks you down.

Whether you're building your business online or offline it is not always easy... 

There are ALWAYS things that are going to end up coming up, right?

I read an email from a friend today and it actually hit me and I was like, wow!

This is really cool. So I wanted to share it with you to maybe help you move forward in your business as well. 

An insurmountable obstacle that's standing in your way and it seems like a huge mountain to climb...

And if you're a person and you've been on this earth for more than five minutes, I bet that you have right? 

There's probably not one person that hasn't found an obstacle in their business...

But the difference between those who actually achieve their dreams and those who don't is what they do when they hit a major roadblock...

Most simply just give up!

Now, if you've been part of a network marketing company before or a business or you've tried to build something online or offline maybe you've found yourself in this place. 

I know I have... 

When it became too hard with my first company, I actually just put it all away...

I just put it away and I didn't say that I gave up, but I adjusted my goals and dreams down to match the level of comfort that I was willing to endure to achieve my goals.

And that's what most people do and logically justify why it just makes sense to move forward.

Just forget about all of that and move forward....

There are a few rare individuals that have the persistence...

Kind of like my Pugs... they get a stuffed animal between the two of them and they tug and tug until they have the ability to somehow magically overcome these obstacles. 

And for those that watch from the sidelines... it seems like just sheer luck. 

That's what it seems like...

Have you seen this happen inside your company?​

Maybe you're at an event and you see somebody that had these big obstacles and all of a sudden... they are there...

They have moved forward through the big obstacles and now they're walking across the stage, they're rank advancing and you're wondering what the heck is wrong with you?

I've been there!

How do I know that? Because I have been there...

And there's really no such thing as luck!

They're there because of their sheer persistence and they understand how to deal with the failures that will ALWAYS come your way.

I was on the plane the other day reading Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" and this really stuck out for me... 

The key is to train yourself to look for the benefits, right?

So every time something bad happens you ask yourself, "What can I learn from this? And where is the opportunity?"

This actually just happened to me not long ago with Facebook when I got in a little disagreement about how to do things on their platform. 

And they won.

The bottom line is it's their platform and you have to play the way that they want to play...

And it's not easy...

Is it easy to ask yourself "What can I learn from this, where is the benefits and where it the opportunity?"

No, it's not easy! It's not supposed to be easy! 

If it was easy, everybody would do it right? Everybody would build their business online. Everybody will be a network marketer. Everybody would be making millions of dollars. But it's just not that easy, right? 

It's not supposed to be easy.

The easy solution is for you to quit, throw your hands up in the air....

That's just the way life is. But the harder thing is to do is develop the mental toughness to learn how to deal with these challenges.

I just recently had a big challenge with the platform on Facebook, I could have chosen to just walk away... There's other platforms I could have built my business on but I wasn't willing to do that!

I have this "Bulldog" tenacity!  And I know I'm going to going to work through it.

The one thing I learned is that the more successful you become, the more challenges you end up dealing with.... 

There's more responsibilities that come with your business growing. 

You may have a team and there's more responsibilities that come with that.

As you build online, there's more responsibilities that come with that.

They don't go away...

The bigger your business, the more challenges you're going to have!

But when you know how to handle them and not let them get you off track, this is when you make those quantum leap towards the things that you really want.

So that's what I wanted to share with you today.... And the last piece that I'm going to leave you with is...

Don't you dare quit!

Find that bulldog tenacity!

Figure that out!

But don't you dare quit because there is somebody waiting for you to help them get the freedom that they're looking for....
